Hi...I have had enough bad experiences on the internet that It's so wonderful to be able to tell you how happy we are with your Arthrix Plus!! We had our good friend "Scottie" to the vet and diagnosed with the dreaded hip dysplasia condition. The first vet called it arthritis and gave him "Rimadyl" .... didn't seem to do much so didn't replace it....months later we had the x rays and they prescribed "Metacam"...did help but after searching for more information on hip dysplasia realized how many complications came with the meds as he is less than 5 years old.. anyway he's a mixture of golden retriever and shepherd. Loves to wander in the woods. and we took lot's of walks with him, so it was very heartbreaking to have to watch the suffering and have to cut back on so much. One night I started for home without him. Just completely done in sitting in the middle of the woods! Anyway we have our "boy" back ..we've cut back to "2" mornings and "1" eve in just the last days...he seems HAPPY again and is able to go pretty much like before...getting up and down is still very hard, but once up and moving a few steps he does sooooo well. Can't say I'm still not scared it's a temporary thing. But for now, thank you for the wonderful relief!

Hi, Wendy: Thanks for your reply. The Arthrix had contained her arthritis really well, but I'd had to increase her dose from three to four pills a few months. When I went to reorder and saw the Arthrix Plus, I figured that would be a good product to switch to. But she's back to jumping six feet in the air and being her wacky self thanks to your products. She's a skinny thing so I knew when the arthritis struck (difficulty getting up) I couldn't just take weight off her -- the Arthrix was recommended to me by someone whose cat benefited from it, and it's been a godsend for Honey for about a year and a half now. I really value your product (Arthrix Plus) and I have seen personally with my 13-year old Maltese what a difference Arthrix can make. I live in New York City, and about 9 months ago my dog starting not enjoying her walks. Soon, I was carrying my dog to the park so she could at least get a bit of fresh air. I really thought that she was beginning to go downhill. The vet prescribed arthritis medication (Metacam) but he recommended using a supplement as well. I did my research and your product seemed very promising. After about 4 weeks on this supplement, she began acting more energetic, walking more, etc. Within 6 months she was a puppy again, running to the park, rolling in the grass, and jumping up and down on the bed about 50 times a day! My name is Susi Kraft. I am visually impaired with my precious aging female guide dog named Hunter. Hunter just turned 13 this last March. I started giving him your wonderful Arthrix 6 weeks ago. I just cannot believe my 13-1/2 year old dogs back legs now! Your product is like a true gift from heaven. Hunter has been at my side around the clock for the last 12 years. We are never apart. I know every movement she makes and she knows mine. Commands are rarely given up until this last year. Her back legs would quiver and she had to use every effort possible to just walk up and down the two steps on our back porch. Her zest was gone and it took my heart away. Before, Hunter had a very hard time just lifting her back legs off the floor to get up. She slept all the time. When awake, you could see the pain in her deep brown eyes which tore my heart to shreds. Little by little her movements changed. Her eyes grew brighter. Now she even plays with her favorite cat Tippy! Hunter barks to let me know of anyone entering our rescue ranch and warns the possums and raccoons to keep their distance. She has become protective again and bounces between the barn and front yard like a playful kangaroo! We have predator hawks in the daytime that float in the sky and she bounces up and down and barks at them. She is protecting the geese, ducks, chickens and cats now on a daily basis! I just wanted to let you know that I have given my Boston Terrier one month's supply of the Arthrix that I ordered from you and he is like a new dog. Otis is almost 9 years old and was having a terrible time with what the vet diagnosed as a disc problem in his upper neck area. He had given him several pain killers and a couple of cortisone shots. This relieved him for a while and then I saw your ad on the internet for the Arthrix tablets. I decided to give them a try. Our black German Shepherd developed a back body problem. Our vet told us to give her pain killers and she will be fine. This was not good enough for me and I went online to research. Just wanted to let you know that I have been giving my Aussie/mix 2 Arthrix per day for the last 2 months. What can I say, it works. She is only 6 years old, but was having a lot of pain and weakness in her hips. It hurt me to watch her struggle to get on her feet from a lying position. Aspirin helped a lot, but upset her stomach. I found Arthrix through searching the Internet and reading a lot of information on hip and joint problems in dogs. After only 2 months she is running and playing and enjoying herself. Arthrix has changed my cat's life. Back in March, we were contemplating putting our 12 year old cat, Abby, to sleep. She has been suffering from severe joint deterioration in the lower back and hips for a while now. Our vet said there was nothing they could really do for her since pain medications are very toxic to cats. I came across your site and ordered some Arthrix. One last resort. My husband and I agreed that we would give the Arthrix two months and if there was little or no improvement, we would have to put her to sleep. Well... within 4-5 weeks, I saw major improvement. Thanks for a great (WONDERFUL!!!) product! Our 12-year old Poodle Tasha is acting like a puppy again. It's absolutely wonderful. Your products have really helped my three dogs who were unfortunately born with genetic hip dysplasia, which I didn't discover until I had them for about six months. My vet recommended replacement of both hips for Jack at a cost of about $5,000.00 per hip, as he is the one with the worst ailment. However the orthopedic specialist who looked at all the x-rays said his hips were not correctable. That’s when I found KALA's Arthrix and Fortrix. I would not allow my dogs to suffer if they didn't have a happy quality of life. In fact they even chase and occasionally catch jack rabbits when the wife and me are out riding our horses. I want to thank you at Kala Health for Arthrix for Dogs and Cats! I have an eleven year old miniature pinscher named Merit who has two herniated discs in the hip area pressing against the spinal cord. This causes pain in the back and legs, aggravated by standing and walking. In the case of my min pin, he was actually bending backward. He would stand erect in the front with his back legs out behind him and bent at a severe angle which seemed to be the position of least discomfort for him.

I had been told by several vets that pain medications and steroids were the only practical remedy to address the pain, neither of which provided significant relief or were acceptable for long-term maintenance. Several months ago a friend told me about Kala Health and Arthrix. Arthrix sounded like it was primarily for animals with arthritis or similar maladies. However, I was willing to give it a try, just in case it might provide Merit with some relief.

After Merit was on the medication about 45 days I began to see a slight lessening in his hunched-down posture in back. By the end of the first bottle of pills, there was significant improvement in his stance. There was a lapse in time of about 10 days between finishing the first bottle and receiving the second bottle. During that period, there was some regression in his posture. Now I am never without an extra supply on hand, because that confirmed for me that the Arthrix was directly responsible for his improvement. Nothing will make Merit functionally better, but Arthrix has brought him almost all the way back to normal in terms of an erect stance. He is happy and as active as his impaired back legs will allow him to be, and no longer appears to be in constant pain. Thank you all at Kala Health for such a priceless gift to my precious little boy - his comfort and quality of life.

I had to write and tell you how thankful I am that you developed Arthrix. My yellow lab Ginger had gotten to the point of crying whenever she walked. It got so bad my boyfriend had to carry her inside when she wanted to come in. Try carrying a 80+ pound dog!! I received Arthrix in the mail last week. Last week, my cat was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and knee joint problems. My doctor prescribed aspirin, so I thought better and went online and found Arthrix. I have noticed changes in my cat even after the first couple of days. She was more affectionate and was socializing with the family more - wasn't taking those day long naps anymore . After about the 4th or 5th day, I noticed her fur. When cats are sick, their fur kind of looks rough - like a mackerel. My cats fur has changed completely - it is smooth, silky and soft. My cat is still limping, but it doesn't seem as severe - also, I have heard that Arthrix takes a good month for you to see the full result. So far, I'm amazed and optimistic and hope that the limping will disappear. The pills are large, so I crumble it finely and mash it in her wet food. She's not having any aversion to it and is eating it all. Thanks.

I am on my second bottle of Arthrix and am very impressed in the improvement Sandy (My lab/Sheppard mix) has made. For approx. a month she could barely get up without help and then she would be wobbly. I put her on glucosamine I purchased at the grocery store which helped some, but no great improvement. Since she's been on Arthrix she gets up much better and walks with me every day without showing any signs of pain. The vet said she has collapsed discs in her back and had her on prednisone. When the prescription was gone I decided to put her on a vitamin regime as the prednisone didn't seem to be doing a thing for her. I'm really satisfied with your product and she's worth every penny it costs us as long as we can keep her going. She's 13 years old and was always perky, but this back thing hit her out of the blue. We ordered Arthrix a few weeks ago for our little dog, Buster. He is fifteen years old and has degenerative disc disease. He has been taking cortisone shots every two or three weeks, but even these shots didn't help him very much anymore. Within three days of taking the shot, he would begin to gnaw his back and feet and whine with pain. His back legs would separate when he stood in one place for several minutes, and often when he tried to walk. We had to watch him carefully day and night to keep him from falling. The joint in his shoulder would swell so badly that it made him break out on his back (something like acne) and the more shots he took, the less he slept. There was one five day period when we slept a total of twenty minutes! He was so pitiful, but we didn't know what else to do.
Then we found out about Arthrix and ordered two bottles. In three days after taking the first pill, I began to see a change in him. His legs did not separate anymore and he quit gnawing his back. He began to sleep all through the night and the breaking out (acne) cleared up right away. It was actually hard for me to believe the difference I was seeing. Instead of shots, he now takes prednisone pills in a much smaller dosage. I would discontinue these pills except that he will still gnaw his feet and hold his head to the side if he does not have them. I read somewhere that there could be a tingling in the legs and feet is nerves were affected. SO we still give him the prednisone for this. I you could have seen him a few weeks ago, before he started taking the Arthrix and then see him today, you would not believe it was the same dog. He feels so much better. He actually wants to run and climb up the back steps by himself, but the vet said we should not let him do that to avoid stress in his joints. We love him so much. Arthrix has been an answer to prayer. It is a wonderful product.

I want to add my name to list of satisfied customers. More importantly, I want to express my gratitude for the fact that you've made a difference in my dog's life. His name is Synbad and he means the world to me. He is a 12 year old Golden Retriever who has hip dysplasia and arthritis. I had him on Rimadyl. Initially, it seem to help a little but after a while, I knew that it wasn't doing much for him and I was worried about potential side effects. I took him off of the Rimadyl and I decided to try your product. I've had him on it for several months now and he is thriving. He could barely get up before. He doesn't exactly jump up from a lying down position but the difference is remarkable. The stairs in our house were getting to be a real problem for him. I was at the point where I was considering restricting him to one level. This was really troubling me because he has always slept in my room, which is on the second floor.

Again, I don't want to exaggerate. He doesn't bound up the stairs two at a time. However, he manages them quite nicely! He never even hesitates to tackle them--something which he was doing before the Arthrix. Now, it's almost as if he's forgotten that he has a problem! His energy level is significantly improved. Synbad is one of those animals who gets "in trouble". He's always into something. He's not destructive. He's just mischievous and over the years his antics have made me laugh more than any other living creature on this planet. All that had stopped. He was so "good" that it was breaking my heart. Well, he's back! Just yesterday, I had to trudge up the street because in the few minutes that I had turned my back, he decided to go visit one of the neighbors.

This last part may seem odd to you, but I will swear that his hearing is better! Before I had him on your product, I would come home at night and I would have to call him several times announcing that I was home. Now, more often than not, he's at the door to greet me just like he was before! I don't know if it's because his energy level is so much better or if his hearing really has improved. I just know that, in every way, he's more like his "old" self. I cannot thank you enough. Please feel free to use any of my comments in your ad. It is the least that I can do--and it isn't nearly enough.

I have been using your product ARTHRIX for Dogs and Cats for my female cocker spaniel who we got from an animal rescue center and had been physically abused by her previous owners. I took her to our veterinarian and he said her back leg looked like someone had tried to pull it out by the socket and there was ligament and tendon damage. She was limping badly and at times her back leg would give out. A friend recommended your product and I gave it to her every day for approximately 4 weeks. At that time I took her back to the vet and he was amazed when he checked her back legs and found that she had healed and there were no visible signs that she had ever been injured. Also, she recently had 6 puppies and is still in good health! There are no signs of recurrence of the limping. I highly recommend your product and am very pleased with the results it has achieved.
